Come celebrate National Poetry Month with us at our Second-Annual Poetry Club Showcase!
This Thursday, April 11, starting at 4:30 pm, we have a packed lineup of featured readers, a workshop, and an open mic–you won’t want to miss this!
We’ll hear readings from several of our Club members, including Sash Johnson, Zelda Butler, and Julie Wolf. Then, at 5:30 pm, Jan Jobey will lead an all-ages poetry workshop, where you’ll have the opportunity to craft your own poem(s) to share!
The Showcase will take place in the Whiteacre Room at the McAlester Public Library, with refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library. We hope to see you there!
